If you are a registered M-PESA user, you require to visit the nearest Safaricom shop to activate an M-PESA 1Tap card.
At entry
- Customer drives into mall, taps their M-PESA 1Tap card at the entry point station.
- Card is verified, the barrier opens and parking billing commences.
During Payment
When customer is ready to leave:
- Customer dials *486# on their phone from anywhere within the parking site.
- The amount to be paid is presented on the customer’s phone with the ticket number, location and duration spent.
- Customer selects option 1 to pay through M-PESA.
- Customer gets a pop-up on their phone with a prompt to enter their M-PESA PIN.
- Confirmation message from M-PESA and KAPS parking is sent to the customer.
At Exit
- Customer taps their M-PESA 1Tap Card on scan area on the exist scanner.
- Payment is validated.
- Vehicle is allowed to exit.
The parking charges will be displayed once you dial *486# to query your bill.

As long you have not yet entered your M-PESA PIN number to authorize the payment, you can cancel the transaction at any time.
