This is a C2B Paybill with a defined short duration. A Short-Term Paybill is a product that enables the raising of funds for diverse needs e.g., medical bills, funerals, weddings, education, and for charity/catastrophe, etc.

The Paybill service is a payment collection service that allows businesses to collect money regularly from customers through M-PESA.

The Bulk Payment service (Business to Customer - B2C) enables an organization to make payments/disbursements from a given M-PESA shortcode to mobile phones of individuals in real-time at the click of a button e.g., Salary, Dividend and SACCO payments.

The Business One Account service enables organizations to use one Lipa na M-PESA short code to collect and disburse funds. Therefore, organizations given either Paybill or B2C or both can be onboarded with one account product. For new customers, the products will be added during the onboarding process.

Pochi la Biashara is a product that allows business owners such as food vendors, small kiosk owners, boda-boda operators, secondhand clothes dealers, etc., to receive and separate business funds from personal funds on their M-PESA line.

Business-to-Business (B2B) Payment service is a value-added service that allows organizations to make payments to other organizations. The organization must have an existing M-PESA shortcode from which the payment is to be made.

Payments are customer-initiated, and the receiving organization may have a unique identifier i.e., account number.

The customer has an official relationship with the organization to whom they are making payment and has an “account number” that helps identify the user. The customer inputs a business number (Paybill number) for the entity they are paying.
