East Africa: Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Botswana, Burundi,
Zambia and Malawi
To Asia: Bangladesh and Pakistan (Through M-PESA Terrapay)
M-PESA registered customers can also receive funds from abroad on their MPESA account.

AliPay

Alipay is a remittance service that allows for the transfer of funds from an M-PESA customer to a beneficiary in China. The M-PESA customer can either send the funds to their mobile number or bank account.

Easy accessibility - Alipay is easily accessible to customers i.e., on M-PESA APP Services Tab Alipay mini app and USSD.
Easy transfer and reception - A customer can send to the mobile number or bank.

Safaricom has partnered with TerraPay, an international money transfer provider that enables M-PESA registered customers to send money to individuals in Bangladesh and Pakistan either to their mobile numbers or bank accounts. M-PESA registered customers require full bank account or recipient phone numbers for transactions. TerraPay calculates foreign exchange and charges, updating daily at 0000 hrs. GMT.
