Fake loans
The message is usually unsolicited with claims that they can offer fake loans at low interests. To attempt to legitimize the message, fraudsters include genuine contacts and mention Safaricom products like M-Shwari.
Swindlers send messages containing information on false loans available through platforms like M-Shwari and KCB M-PESA. The loans may be stated to have very low interest rates or no interest rates at all. This channel may be used to intercept you M-PESA account and result in loss of money.
Whenever you receive a fake message, forward it to 333 to block users from defrauding other customers.
