Kaytrixx, Wyre, P-Unit Among Star Artists Slated for the Safaricom Relay Series Finale
Safaricom has assembled some of the big names in the music industry to crown the first edition of Safaricom Relay Series to be held on Saturday 26th April at the Nyayo National Stadium
King of Kamba music Ken Wa Maria will be joined on stage by “Kikundi Serikali” P-UNIT, Wyre, Kaytrixx and many more.
The mini - concert will happen after the final trials and selection of the team that will represent the country in the first ever World Relay Championships in Nassau, Bahamas next month. “We call on all Kenyans to come out in large numbers and support the athletes who will be competing for a chance to fly the country’s flag high in Bahamas” said Safaricom Director of Marketing Rita Okuthe.
Kenya is hoping to take 60 athletes to compete in the IAAF World Relays, scheduled to take place on May 23rd and 24th 2014.
Among the elite Kenyan athletes expected to take part in the trials are Eunice Sum, Hellen Obiri, Asbel Kiprop and Caleb Ndiku.
