Salif Keita Show Sells Out as Safaricom Jazz Lounge Fans Rush to Purchase Advance Tickets
27th August, 2015… Tickets to the Safaricom Jazz Lounge are sold out, two days before Salif Keita and the Gogosimo Band are scheduled to thrill music fans in Nairobi.
Although arrangements had been made for fans to be able to purchase their tickets at the gate on the event day, high demand has seen participating outlets sell out their tickets just two weeks after they first went on sale.
Those who had booked their tickets via M-Ticketing have now been requested to pay for them as soon as possible to secure their entry to the show, as there will be no tickets being sold at the gate.
The Safaricom Jazz Lounge will be held on Saturday 29th August 2015 at the Bomas of Kenya from 8.00pm. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ghetto Classics music programme in Korogocho Slums, which seeks to provide an opportunity for children from underprivileged backgrounds to explore their musical talents and use them as a ticket out of the low income neighbourhood.
