Safaricom Home Fibre is a service that allows you to have fast, reliable and unlimited internet access from the comfort of your home. Once registered you will be given a Wi-Fi router that will enable you to have wireless and LAN internet access.

Home Fibre Bulk Pay allows you to pay for multiple months of your home fibre subscription upfront at a discounted rate.

Available bulk pay options are 3-months, 6 Months, and 12 Months

Bulk pay options are available on both USSD and My Safaricom App

Via USSD:

  • Dial *400# and select Option
  • Select your fibre plan.
  • Choose the number of months you want to renew (3 Months, 6 Months, 12 Months)
  • Select Payment Method
  • Authenticate

Via My Safaricom App:

  • Go to mySafaricom App and select Home Internet Tab
  • Select Home Fibre icon.
  • Select Change Plan.
  • Select Home Fibre package and duration (3 Months, 6 Months, 12 Months).
  • Select Payment Method
  • Authenticate

Yes, you can change your plan. You will receive a refund for the unused days. To change your plan dial *400# or go to mySafaricom App > Home Internet

You can request for Safaricom Home Fibre here. If you’re in are in a fibre covered area, you will get a call back from Safaricom within 24 hours.

You will be provided with a WiFi username and Password to connect your device to Safaricom Home Fibre.

You can pay for your Home Fibre subscription using either of the options below:

Via mySafaricom App:

Download mySafaricom app from your Playstore or AppStore and select the HOME Internet tab

Via USSD:

Dial *400# > Select Home Fibre > Pay > Select your preferred package and make payment via M-PESA

Available Payment Modes:

  • MPESA
  • Postpay Credit Limit: If you are a Safaricom Postpay customer, you can use your credit limit to settle your Home Fibre bill. Simply dial *400# > Pay > select preferred plan > select Postpay as a payment option.
  • Bonga: This allows you to pay for your Safaricom Home Fibre subscription using Bonga points. Simply select Bonga Points when selecting payment option.

Go to My Safaricom App > Home Internet > Home Fibre > Manage account to change your default username and password. If you encounter any challenges, Call 400 for assistance from one of our support team members.

You can change your package on the day of renewal. You will be able to change your subscription by going to mySafaricom App > Home Internet > change plan or by dialing *400# and following the prompts. NOTE: When you change your subscription before your renewal date new, package will take effect and you will forgo the remaining days on the current subscription.

A reconnection fee will be levied to customers who do not have their routers and may vary depending on the nature of reconnection. Payments should only be made via my Safaricom app or via *400#
