APRIL
- The additional till request feature was added in the portal/App
MAY
- M-PESA customer onboarding journey was enhanced to include customer occupation, source of funds, and purpose of the account in compliance with AML regulation
- Geolock & vicinity checks features were added to the M-PESA registration app
- New M-PESA Business Tariff Forms were released
- PARTNERS' PAYOUT for services was updated
- Pochi la Biashara loan was rebranded to Mkopo wa Pochi
JUNE
- The Shine Kenya promotion was launched
- M-PESA GlobalPay service was deactivated on USSD and remains solely on the app to avert fraud
- We introduced the Lipa Na M-PESA onboarding functionality on Partner apps
JULY
- Gaming and Betting Companies Licenses Renewal (2024/2025) regulations
- We had the Beneficial Owners' Information Update Drive
AUGUST
- Lipa Mdogo Mdogo was rebranded - Device Financing 2.0 with insurance
SEPTEMBER
- We introduced Spotify bundled proposition for consumers
- The FTTH Fibrelite plan was introduced
- Shinda Mamili promotion came to an end
- New NDCs were released - 0116 & 0117
- We had the Merchants DIY Organization email update via 2342 or 2344
- M-PESA Multiple Accounts was enabled, with a maximum limit of 5 active accounts
- We had the eSIM capable devices drive in a bid to transition from physical SIM cards to eSIM
